Plot summary

Inspired by the filmmaker's own story, an aspiring screenwriter and musician's life quickly unravels when he is diagnosed with a crippling form of OCD. While struggling through his darkest hour, he must help himself and those around him tackle a litany of universal issues: grief, coming-of-age, addiction, redemption and the power of social connection.

I felt the pain through the screen at

I felt the pain through the screen at various moments. This film a very real depiction of the lives and ramifications of dealing with OCD or other mental issues . Not an enjoyable watch, definitely a tough watch emotionally- but a realistic film that will give you a new perspective if you are willing to look for it and learn .

Thought-provoking film that portrays a difficult subject matter

Thought-provoking film that portrays a difficult subject matter with a rare honesty. So many portrayals of mental health detach it from the everyday mess and inconvenience of real life. This one superbly merged the two IMHO.
