Problematic reliance over its nuanced screenplay in mere grasps without much depth for behavioral justification, the execution still emotionally stuns through Brian Cox’s excellent form and Kate Beckinsale’s vocal relatability to not only together build a feel-good picture’s humbling heart but demonstrated reconciliation’s process realistically on derivative grounds. The plot of this film seemed rather tired and it was predictable from beginning to end. Not one scene left anything to the imagination, so it lost a few points there for me. That being said, performances were decent, so that made it a bit easier to watch.

It's somewhat of a moving story, though nothing too special. What shocked me was realizing the decline of Kate Beckinsale's visuals. For decades she was kind of a sex symbol, but in this movie she looks like any simple American house wife. And it's not only the makeup and attire, which obviously had to be fitting her paper in this movie, but her face has actually completely lost her sexappeal. It's absolutely lackluster. That's a real shame! Nevertheless she does a decent job as the frustrated mother and Brian Cox is generally good anyway. So, if you are into drama, you might enjoy it. 5/10 points.
