The narrative itself is sad

If you don't cry at then end of this then there is no help for you. This is a truly heart wrenching story that will make you realise that you live in a very protected environment. What this girl had to endure is what your worst nightmares are based on. it is as a voyeur we see her desperate clawing away from a life governed my a mother whi accepts the rape of her daughter by her father as normal. Anger and dispair are the outcome of this film.

Very saddening

I wish sh**t like this only happened on the movie set & not in the real world, unfortunately I don't have genies to grant my wishes. What a powerful movie, awesome acting, amazing soundtrack, incredible cinematography, it had it all.

I love this movie. Just absolutely brutal and savage in the non violent way. The way this poor girl is treated by her own mother is harrowing. This whole movie is worth watching JUST for the final scene. I wont give it away but it's basically everyone sitting together explaining their actions. If that dont make you emotional, you're dead inside. Fantastic acting and incredibly moving. Love this movie
