Firstly ..I live in New Zealand where the ORIGINAL movie was made...it was called Good Bye Pork Pie and it leaves Pork Pie in the dust...I grew up in the 70s and 80s in NZ and Good Bye Pork PIe was like a retrospect journey of the "way we were"......from the cars the currency the language the clothes the music and the madness...growing up in that era....the acting was first class for a budget movie and it delivered on all fronts,,,,,Paul is a fine Director but not seasoned like his father Geoff Murphy who has sadly passed away.....Good Bye Pork Pie is one of my all time Favorite movies....and when me and my older brother reluctantly sat down to watch Pork Pie....we were disappointed....firstly the TECH that is around in 2017 should of had our anti heroes caught and locked up lickity split...instead it relied on stupid luck and silly scene set ups to keep everyone out of jail.....in Pork Pie it even had the cliche "handing out of the automatic weapons" scene....the helicopter chase and OTHER minis racing away from the authorities ...just a stupid way to end the movie......watch Good Bye Pork PIe...and watch the legendary Bruno Lawrence and Tony Barry show you what true acting chops looks like...

Thanks looks gooood!
