Audrey is a weirdo that's estranged from her

Audrey is a weirdo that's estranged from her own family. When jobs go sideways, she hides and watches cat videos on youtube. When she realizes she can be adopted as an adult, she gets hooked up with a family with their own dysfunction. Points her back home...but if there's worth of the whole true tale, the film isn't very forthcoming with it.
