Plot summary
When a covert research team imprisons Popeye to harness his superhuman strength as a military weapon, their experiment spirals violently out of control. Transformed into an unstoppable force driven by rage, Popeye tears through the facility, leaving destruction in his wake. @Yomanda there is a whole business model around making movies that doesn't require them to actually be a box office success. Everyone is already paid before the film is even released. It's only released because that's the terms of the grants they get. Honestly go watch The Producers if you want some insights. That, and it's a great movie. Watch the original with Gene Wilder, it's the superior version.
I am the target audience for these movies. I LOVE these movies and can't wait for the announced Popeye 4: Resurrection.
