Plot summary

Jerzy is a writer and a heavy drinker. We meet him at the point when he believes that he can beat his addiction. He falls in love with a young girl and finally feels that he has got the person and the reason to live for. But soon he yields to his addiction.

Well made, but I didn't like the direction

Well made, but I didn't like the direction of the film - this is not how real alcoholism works and this is not how real life works. Everything's dirty and wrong just to make the film more dirty and wrong, not because it has a reason in the plot.
