Movies that are dubbed in general always take me out of the experience. I will watch a 3 hour foreign film with subtitles over a dubbed film any day. It's a french film, but for some reason I can't find a single site, torrent, or nzb in the original language (which is odd). So...I will have to play the waiting game until one pops up online.

From the trailer and synopsis it slightly looks/sounds like a book I read way back in elementary school, Invitation to the Game. Dystopian future, thought police. After school college kids are assigned groups and and have to find a way to survive on their own in the slums. They have to build their own homes, find their own food and work, etc. They eventually get invited to a VR game testing program that pays well, the twist they aren't told is it's not really a game, the whole setup is basically training. The kids put on what they think are VR goggles, but then realize they've been dumped on an alien planet.
