Plot summary

Bookish and unpopular Mandy finds her luck finally changing when Drew, the school hottie, invites her to the year's biggest party. But with being grounded and Drew's ex-girlfriend bent on thwarting her, Mandy may be destined to remain a geek. Can a little ingenuity and some help from her friends save the day?

Non una grandissima commedia romantica, le aspettative erano

Non una grandissima commedia romantica, le aspettative erano alte leggendo le recensioni, ma è stato abbastanza deludente. La trama scontata non garantisce nulla di che dal punto di vista narrativo e anzi spesso appare noiosa e tirata per le lunghe. Le scene in cui si trovano i due protagonisti sono 4 in totale, senza quindi avere il tempo di sviluppare la giusta alchimica. Il film regge grazie all'interpretazione della protagonista che garantisce almeno lo humor per mantenere l'interesse del film.
