Plot summary

Pete, a young orphan, runs away to a Maine fishing town with his best friend a lovable, sometimes invisible dragon named Elliott! When they are taken in by a kind lighthouse keeper, Nora, and her father, Elliott's prank playing lands them in big trouble. Then, when crooked salesmen try to capture Elliott for their own gain, Pete must attempt a daring rescue.

I really enjoyed this movie growing up I could some how relate to it in ways

This is a campy but great film full

This is a campy but great film full of fun and a few laughs. Mickey Rooney and Red Buttons killed it. Helen (Nora) is a great singer and won an award for the "Candle on the Water" song back in the late 1970s and you can see why. The animation is dated by 2026 standards, but for a nearly 50 year old musical with animation, this is still a CLASSIC. Hope Disney doesn't turd in the punchbowl again with another steamer remake....we will see if they learned their lesson with the Snow White debacle.

now i understand why disney cutted real actors and just made the entire movies animated, these actors are such a turn off 0 out of 10
