Plot summary

Sam, a seemingly poised and glamorous real estate agent in a small mountain community, is revealed to be an unhinged and troubled alcoholic with a dark secret, when a charismatic man named Peter shows up in town one day. As she tries to keep her life from unravelling, an older co-worker named Brenda is targeted by Peter for information at the behest of his powerful and shadowy boss, Mr. Lock.

One main quality of Peter Five Eight is

One main quality of Peter Five Eight is that it constantly reminds the viewer that it's not real. It's a nineties black and the white movie in a modern disguise. It's funny enough to hold the determined ones till the end but it's thin plot and waywardness makes it difficult. Great acting. Good music. And a surprising twist to the story right at the end.
