It could have done with being a bit

It could have done with being a bit leaner, but the film is going to be an absolutely hilarious hit for anyone who is a fan of the TV series.

Given it 5 stars because I enjoyed it throughout and was actually better then I thought it would be.

Kurupt FM burst on to UK TV screens

Kurupt FM burst on to UK TV screens and were a smash hit instantly. Deluded, vacuous and thick, they really put a boring tower block in Brentford on the musical map. Over five series they somehow managed to exploit every variation of plausible comic bathos to hilarious effect and without once forcing the humour. Their feature film debut takes them to Japan, where they are pressed into becoming a boy band, and it's all a bit meh. Perhaps we've become too used to their shtick, perhaps ninety minutes is too much, perhaps too much of the dialogue is inaudible, but they were funnier confined to the TV screen in thirty minute chunks.
