Patty Hearst is a disappointing film. It is about Patricia Hearst, a rich girl who was abducted by American revolutionaries in the 1970s. Natasha Richardson and William Forsythe give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Paul Schrader did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Been awhile since I've seen it, but I definitely enjoyed it. It didn't stray too far from the facts of the case, and I found the actors' performances believable. The RT top critics of the time (including Roger Ebert) also liked it, so I don't quite get the hate I'm seeing from many here in the audience reviews.
