Plot summary

With few clues to go on, Detective Rodriguez is assigned to the case and charged with the task of bringing a beautiful, murdering seductress to justice. After being sentenced to a life term at a mental institution for the criminally insane, the convicted murderer fights for her freedom while falling in love with the man who put her there.

I haven't a clue what the 2005 "Passing

I haven't a clue what the 2005 "Passing Fancy" is, but this site has no entry for Ozu's identically titled 1933 effort. The final entry in the silent boxed set cements my respect for his early work. It's a touch less even than the previous disc, but fascinating because Ozu rarely worked outside of his decidedly middle class world.

Unrealistic movie

Typical unrealistic movie as how can a person falls in love with the one who is against you. It's plot lacks the contentious material.
