@ChasUGC Zoo's are disgusting examples of some peoples desire to profit from the misery of imprisoning creatures better than themselves. Any circus using animals as entertainment should be outlawed and I don't care how big a cage your birds had, it's still a cage. Buy them a 50 room castle and let them fly around in that. It's still a cage. If a bird, or any wild animal isn't allowed to live in it's natural habitat, the great outdoors, because someone wants to make a pet out of it, that's cruelty plain and simple. And don't use the "conservation" argument to try and justify it. That's the same argument places like Sea World and zoo's use to justify their existence. How about someone locks you up in an enormous mansion, provides for all your needs, but never lets you go out of the building for any reason? A prison is a prison no matter how big it is.

@Corporal_Clegg - Why is this any worse than people keeping wild animals in cages in the Zoo? Those animals aren't even loved as pets. They are kept as spectacles. I had a few parrots. My parakeet was an open cagge and she flew around the room at her leisure. My Parrots had open cages most of the time, and they would climb on the top and play at their leisure. I was even going to teach my parrots to free fly, like many parrot owners have done. THe cages are mostly used to keep them safe. Home pets actually have a much longer life span than in the wild. Plus, it helps to bring attention to the conservation of these wonderful animals.

People who enjoy keeping birds in cages as pets are sick, cruel and demented.

Great idea, keep a parrot in a cage, show what a powerful and clever human you are by putting a bird in a box

I have a cockatiel...a shorter-lived parrot, but still one nonetheless. They make incredible pets like the other parrots but they take intentional time, attention, care, and multiple decades of dedication. It goes a bit beyond a dog or a cat.

I really enjoyed this movie. If you are a parrot or bird fan, you'll love it. I acutally had a African Grey Parrot, and they are truly the smartest parrot in the world. Their talking ability is unparalleled, and their bonding ability is similar to a talking dog. lol.
