Plot summary

Six vignettes set in different sections of Paris, by six directors. St. Germain des Pres (Douchet), Gare du Nord (Rouch), Rue St. Denis (Pollet), and Montparnasse et Levallois (Godard) are stories of love, flirtation and prostitution; Place d'Etoile (Rohmer) concerns a haberdasher and his umbrella; and La Muette (Chabrol), a bourgeois family and earplugs.

For my taste the movie aged too much

For my taste the movie aged too much but i can still see what made the movie fresh back then. The 6 parts have fun wits about them but unfortunately this isn't my style

It's a very La Nouvelle Vague thing. After

It's a very La Nouvelle Vague thing. After all, it was a compilation of 6 different directors' short segments released in 1969. I like Jean Douchet's < Saint Germain-Des-Pres > most for its easiness.
