The 1080P version stutters like mad and has a ton of artifacts... not good.

I have seen both movies and read both books when I was a kid. In real life they actually found the real killer. The 1973 version is incredible. The hopelessness, the desperation and the loss bores right into your soul. The new version is very well played, but lacks the depth of the original. Still worth the watch in either case. Any court system that takes so much of a persons life when wrongfully convicted needs to make amends in a paramount way.

Thanks Freeman

I haven't seen the old movie, I just saw this and see it great and worth watching. I highly recommend, and you do not need to see the old one if you are confused
