Hey, know what? This was alright. Dellane and Corraface bounce off each other well, offering performances sturdy enough to carry both the cliches and the twists of the story. Huh. For a movie upon which I randomly stumbled, it rather surprised me. "The Greeks are back!"

I didn't find this funny, or especially thought provoking. The characters seemed quite cliched and the plot was pretty obvious - I didn't feel a lot of warmth towards the characters and it just didn't interest me.

This film is a lacklustre and ironically blown-out film: the characters and story is a chessboard of wooden pieces, and the white colours blind. I only enjoyed the moments when Mehmet and Katie Papadopoulos were together on screen. James Papadopoulos had potential… then he was castled into a corner. The pathos in this film was pathetic, the humour was laughable, and the drama was draining. Utterly perplexing film. It's a stage drama with a handful of characters in a handful of settings. Belabouring the same points. Slow pacing. I felt like I was watching one of those furniture store ads where people and furniture are as mid as each other - colour and life bleached and whited out. It’s a movie about fish n chips and we have two meagre scenes of folks eating product (we see the product and, hoboy, talk about stingy-, dry- and cold-looking). I wanted to turn this off many times. Watch, rewatch? Absolutely not.
