Plot summary

During 18th century India, the Marathas emerged as the most powerful empire in the nation until the Afghan King Ahmad Shah Abdali plans to take over India. Sadashiv Rao Bhau is brought in to save the empire from the king which then leads to the third battle of Panipat.

Panipat is a grand historical drama that brings

Panipat is a grand historical drama that brings one of India's most important battles to the big screen with impressive scale and emotion. The battle sequences are visually striking, and the film does a good job of capturing the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Maratha warriors. I especially enjoyed the historical setting, costumes, and strong performances. While the pacing slows down in a few places, the overall experience is engaging and leaves you with a deeper appreciation for this chapter of history

The movie is a nice movie but not

The movie is a nice movie but not a great historical movie and it has nationalism a discriminations and it cast's the battle as more of a phyricc victory for the Durrani Empire then a a crushing defeat for the Marathas

What did you think of the movie? This movie is absolute waste of time. It seems that every actor had different idea of the movie hence everyone's expressions and dialogue delivery was horrendous. None of the actors read the script and discussed it. The dialogue writer did an half assed job, The era was not considered at all while drafting dialogues, the pronunciations were ignored, Every one in the movie kept saying Delhi, its "Dilli". Star Cast wasn't appropriate either Arjun Kapoor's marathi accent was worst. If at all he would have tried for 20 days to develop Marathi accent, his accent would have sounded more convincing.. This is the "sense of entitlement" in celebrities born to a celebrity, they wont put any effort in making, acting, directing movies. Arjun Kapoor had zero fitness level as compared to warrior yet he was casted as "Sadashiv". All in all it was a total loss of my 3 hours which I would never get back..
