I have watched a fair number of docus

I have watched a fair number of docus dealing with animal rescue & release. This however got to a point of being annoying to watch with the caregiver treating the wild animal like a pet and constantly smothering him & following him around. It almost seemed like the animal was trying hard to get away from him. At one point he releases the animal but keeps following him in the wild and then bringing him back. Felt bad for the pangolin! Beautiful creatures and there needs to be better awareness about them & their plight with meaningful documentaries. Not this kind for sure..

It's so nice to see Pangolins and see

It's so nice to see Pangolins and see that there are these places to rescue pangolins, but this documentary is as much about this insecure man and his journey with pangolins as it is about the animal. It would be nice if it felt genuine, but it seems like a cry for attention and with lines like "it's easy to be vulnerable with a pangolin" it just becomes hard to watch. The writing is just classic Netflix pumping out content on a formula and something that could have felt so real just comes out shallow and empty. The guy in the doco has no real connection to the animal and has no empathy and that can be seen right throughout. I would watch it, but I don't enjoy it. The whole show is the guy fondling the pangolin and the pango trying to run away from him.

An awe inspiring documentary about a pre-historic creature

An awe inspiring documentary about a pre-historic creature that the earth is losing. The story line is excellent and the photography is magnificent. I rate it in the same category as "My Octopus Teacher".
