Plot summary

Ace is an impressionable young man working for a dry cleaning business. His friend, drug dealer Mitch, goes to prison. In an unrelated incident, he finds some cocaine in a pants pocket. Soon, Ace finds himself dealing cocaine for Lulu. Via lucky breaks and solid interpersonal skills, Ace moves to the top of the Harlem drug world. Of course, unfaithful employees and/or rivals conspire to bring about Ace's fall.

Plays out like a Scorcese movie, except it's

Plays out like a Scorcese movie, except it's in the hood and no Italians. Acting overall is great, at times there's performances that feel so close to real life. The writing is really good. Cinematography and editing, continuity of the story, same thing it's all high quality. Gotta agree with almost everyone else in the audience, critics taking a dump on this movie is unbelievable. Also learned this movie bombed at the box office. This movie got so much hate, I don't get it. Would recommend you watch it without hesitation.

I don't know what rotten tomatoes critics are

I don't know what rotten tomatoes critics are doing I don't think some of them should even be able to rate this type of movie because a 53 is disrespectful because it's not understood by them I think it's a bad sign when there is a big difference between the critics perspective and natural audience because it means that the critics are not in touch with what the audience enjoys

It was okay but hard to understand sometimes

It was okay but hard to understand sometimes they talk so fast. I'd never bother watching it again.
