Plot summary

A young American couple’s Australian holiday takes a terrifying turn when they get lost in the outback. With only one another to rely on, the two are driven to extremes in order to stay alive in the harsh and unforgiving wilderness.

This movie is an absolute waste of time

This movie is an absolute waste of time. Nothing adds up, the whole story leads nowhere and is ridiculous, everything that happens is absolutely random. Making it through the whole thing was one of the most painful movie experiences I’ve ever had.

I really liked the beginning, like a short

I really liked the beginning, like a short sightseeing video of Sydney. The cinematic style was also on spot and then... I can't think of a film where the characters act as stupidly as they do here. This really is the film with the dumbest people in it. How can you drive into the outback without preparing even a little bit? Just put enough water in the car, and on your phone, zoom out to see roughly where you are. He said he downloaded the map which means this works even without internet. Definitely better than going up some hill where you can’t see anything, because you are miles out in the middle of nowhere. If it had been a bit more realistic, the film really could have had potential.
