Plot summary

Gino Felino is an NYPD detective from Brooklyn who knows everyone and everything in his neighborhood. Killing his partner was someone's big mistake... because he's now out for justice.

Out for Justice is one of the most

Out for Justice is one of the most entertaining action movies of the early 90s and my personal favourite Steven Seagal movie. It has everything: hard-hitting fight scenes, memorable one-liners, and nonstop entertainment from beginning to end. Seagal is perfectly cast as Gino Felino, a tough Brooklyn detective trying to track down Richie after he murders Gino’s partner in broad daylight. While his accent might seem goofy to some, he still pulls it off well enough to make you forget Seagal isn’t Italian. What really makes the movie stand out is its atmosphere and supporting characters. William Forsythe is the standout as the villainous Richie, making him one of the craziest villains in an action movie, willing to shoot innocent people. This makes his final fight with Gino, where he is beat by Gino, even more satisfying. Overall, Out for Justice is a tough, stylish, and incredibly fun action classic, and Seagal at his best. "Anybody seen Richie? Anybody know why Richie did Bobby Lupo?"

Seagal kicked Italian-mafia ass here as a revenge-driven NYPD cop. William Forsythe with his creepy laugh is a menacing villain but is no match for Gino.
