The "critics" were definitely harsh on this little

The "critics" were definitely harsh on this little hidden Netflix gem. I had never heard of this film until accidentally stumbling upon it today as I scrolled through the genre, but it's easily going into my "I Can Watch This Again!" film categories. It made me laugh. It made me sentimental. It was reIatable. It tugged at my heartstrings and made me shed a few tears as it light-heartedly touched upon the inevitable shift that occurs in parent-child relationships as both grow older. If anything, this film simply serves as a gentle reminder for us to be kinder, more appreciative, inclusive, communicative, understanding and forgiving towards the people who raised us and who still very much desire to continue to feel a part of our adult life.

Três mulheres tornam-se amigas porque os seus filhos

Três mulheres tornam-se amigas porque os seus filhos ficaram amigos na infância. Crescidos, eles se mudaram para Nova York. Em um Dia das Mães, eles não se lembram e as deixa muito magoadas. Elas decidem então ir visitá-los para surpreendê-los. O filme é uma comédia bem agradável, valorizado pelo trabalho de Angela Basset, Patricia Arquette e Felicity Huffman, que interpretam as mães. Os filhos estão crescidos, formados e têm sua própria vida. Mas o amor materno continua mesmo assim. E é interessante que elas comecem nesse papel de mães, limpando a casa deles, cozinhando para eles. Até que em um determinado momento, elas se redescobrem mulheres. E se embelezam, bebem, saem para dançar e, é claro, rola DR entre elas e delas com seus filhos. Uma comédia bem simpática.

If you’re looking for something easy, very light

If you’re looking for something easy, very light and funny then that’s the movie for you. In the center of the plot are three mothers that are trying to fix their relationship with their adult sons that moved to the city years ago and almost never call. What I really like about this movie it’s the simplicity, character development, different scenarios of mom-son conflicts and solutions brought up. Worth a watch.
