Plot summary

A retired horse trainer finds a young runaway girl in his barn. Skeptic at first, he let's her stay and a friendship develops while he discovers her heart and talent for horses.

Yes, this movie has plenty of indie cliches

Yes, this movie has plenty of indie cliches and predictability but in the overall scheme of things I found it very touching and an enjoyable watch. The screen chemistry between the curmudgeonly Jon Voight and the young Alexa Nisenson was effective, in my opinion. The supporting cast was most solid as well. I'd say you might want to keep a box of tissues handy during the final 20 minutes of this heart-rending tale.

I created this account just to rate this terribly written and directed movie. The wolves scene was on par with Sharknado ridiculiousness. Who puts groceries in the back of a pickup with eggs just sitting in there? I'll tell you who... people who have never driven a car with groceries, let alone eggs... I could go on and on, but it would just make me more frustrated reliving the stupidity.
