Great story, for the first time I can

Great story, for the first time I can say that I saw breasts by the plot or plot by breasts.

Much to my surprise, Orgy Of The Dead

Much to my surprise, Orgy Of The Dead was not actually directed by Ed Wood. He had a number of other roles, the most significant being the screenwriter and author of the novel it’s based on, and that’s evident from the very first scene. Wood’s films, at best, are hysterical comedy of errors, where the entertainment value is derived solely from the sheer ineptitude on display. While this film does have a number of Wood’s trademarks, including the bizarre logic, terrible dialogue, useless female characters and stiff as a board performances, the films biggest problem is that its just so boring. It feels like a group of strippers owed Wood and the director a favour and so they were roped into cavorting around half naked in a mocked up cemetery for an hour and a half. There’s no story whatsoever, and the ending is either utterly nonsensical or a compete slap in the face. It was made to cash in on the ‘nudie cutie’ trend that was big business at the time, so you can’t fault them for not being on the pulse. But when you watch it now, its nearly impossible to tell how this could be considered a feature film worthy of release. They’d have been better off calling it Striptease Of the Dead.
