Plot summary
Based on the true events during the 2016 construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline that runs through the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota on land that is owned by the Lakota “Sioux” Tribe. The film follows Daniel, a journalist and Afghanistan War military veteran, and Elliot, an oil company executive, who find themselves on opposite sides of the fight during the construction of the contentious pipeline.

Factchecker, those were not journalists in WWII, those were then propagandists. Journalists observe and report. They do not take a side. Much like the journalist who took pictures of the little boy crouching down as a vulture was about to snack on him. Observe and report, without any bias in that reporting.

A journalist is almost never neutral. Journalists in WWII never said, "And now for the NAZI point of view we take you to....". Sometimes there is a right and a wrong. The demand for equal time has created the myth that all opinions are valid and all sides are moral.
Why is a 'journalist' on any side? Their single point of view is neutrality. They document, they do not judge. LOL, what am I thinking this is 2023, no such thing as a 'journalist'.

Edward R Murrow was a journalist. Walter Cronkite was a journalist. But when journalist is presented with two sets of facts and he knows one of them is a lie, it is his duty to say so otherwise he is just repeating lies.
