Plot summary

The truth of the past come to light in a series of haunting visions in this drama. The strange visions grow more vivid with each passing day, a young woman of Native American heritage begins piecing together a Catholic priests diabolical plot to prevent her mother from revealing the atrocities that unfolded at a Native Indian boarding school.

151203: Came across this film while attending a Cree Nation awareness course. Decent film featuring many big stars. Done, obviously, on a smaller budget but didn't suffer much as a result.

L'argomento sarebbe anche di interesse perchè poco esplorato

L'argomento sarebbe anche di interesse perchè poco esplorato ed assolutamente interessante; la trama anche avrebbe degli sviluppi tutto sommato ben costruiti. Ma tutto perde di importanza di fronte ad una regia e ad un montaggio semplicemente imbarazzanti. Un film che sembra girato con metodi vecchi di 30 anni, dissolvenze e flashback a dir poco terribili; primi piani da soap opera. Evidentemente una persona che regista non è, ha provato ad esserlo, senza riuscirci nemmeno lontanamente.

A movie that tries to tell a very important historical events of the abuse and conversion of the native american people in an entertaining supernatural movie..... it wasn't all that entertaining.
