Plot summary

A recently escaped convict seeks to recover a treasure he hid years ago in a small, secluded Galician village. However once there, he finds out that in the village there is an even worse sentence than the one he fled from.

Una joya de la animación que por desgracia

Una joya de la animación que por desgracia pasó sin hacer ruido por las carteleras españolas a causa de una pésima distribución ya que ese año parece que las distribuidoras sólo apostaban por "Tadeo Jones". Película que es un canto de amor a las tradiciones de Galicia y más en concreto a sus supersticiones.

Excellent animation, great visual design, and a first rate score - but, after getting off to a good start for the first 15-20 minutes or so, the movie spins its wheels for a long time before it gets to a few more interesting minutes at the conclusion.
