“Number 17” This film starring Leon Lyon Annie Gray John Stewart Donald cathro P Barry Jones and Ann cassan was one of the early talking films back in 1932 directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Now this film had a fairly easy to follow plot a gang of thieves stole necklace and the detector is on the hunt to find that necklace and return it to where it's proper owner is. That is the essence of the movie I would consider this a thriller crime mystery and give it a PG rating all things considered. If you’re Alfred Hitchcock buff like myself this is 1 you definitely wanna watch it's one of the early talkies and the quality of the black and white picture is really good. Considering the year I think it was very well done.

Too convoluted, dark and off pace. Although, I did like Ben. And Rose was a nice character, too.

I enjoyed this one. Yeah it’s not Hitchcock best but it’s charming. The beginning drags on but the ending conclusion kept my interest. Lots of twists and turns even if it is sort of predictable
