Plot summary

Upon taking her vows to become a nun, Sister Sarah is abused, brainwashed and also drugged into submission by the corrupt clergy. On the verge of her own death from a lethal dose of drugs, Sister Sarah receives a message from God telling her to take vengeance on all those who did wrong to her. Armed with God's will and an arsenal of big guns, she dispenses Judgment Day on her former tormentors. When the church hires the merciless motorcycle gang "Los Muertos" to track down and to kill her they soon realize that this sister is one bad mother.

Uma organização criminosa que envolve a Igreja Católica

Uma organização criminosa que envolve a Igreja Católica e uma gangue de motoqueiros fazem tráfico de drogas. Após uma freira tentar roubar parte da carga, a irmã Sarah é entregue aos motoqueiros que a coloca para trabalhar em seus bordéis, viciando-a. Ela então diz que ouviu Deus e ele a manda matar. Ela se recupera do vício e parte em sua vingança contra a Igreja e a gangue. O gênero sexploitation foi muito comum nos anos 70, com os seus filmes desfilando mulheres nuas ou seminuas em tramas de violência e terror. Passado um tempo, Tarantino e Robert Rodriguez fizeram Grindhouse, homenageando estas sessões de cinema que passavam filmes B, com muita violência e alguma nudez. Os falsos trailers exibidos nesta produção de Tarantino e Rodriguez deu origem a vários filmes como Machete e Feriado Sangrento, entre outros. Este filme bebe das 2 fontes: o sexploitation e Grindhouse. Do sexploitation, temos a violência, o sexo e a nudez. Do Grindhouse, vem um pouco da estética utilizada, um pouco inspirada nos westerns spaghettis. Porém é só isso. Desculpas para cenas de violência e sexo. Há uma sequência com uma família que cai nas mãos dos motoqueiros totalmente inútil, só para mostrar como eles são maus. Asun Ortega encarna bem esta freira meio Rambo meio John McClane e David Castro é um vilão que o filme pede. Não espere uma grande história nem grandes arroubos técnicos, apesar da boa fotografia na sequência inicial. Não me pergunte porque padres e freiras se meteriam no tráfico de drogas. Nem o filme explica. Assista pela curiosidade ou porque gosta do gênero.
