Plot summary

This is a MUCH better film than I was expecting...even with the high reviews. The story is OK...after all, it's a surfing movie. But it's the acting...it's excellent, as is the realistic dialogue. Sure, there are clichés but there are no cartoon characters, mouthing cartoon dialogue. Oh and the surfing shots are awesome. If you're a fan of the genre, this is a must watch. 10/10
