bro this film is on internet archive, if you are expecting them to update a 20 year old publicly available film just to serve your needs, then your life will be full of disappointment.

Reupload please. There is a hardcoded Chinese subtitle.

4/10

Gonna watch it later.

Yeah like @ali1064 said, it's a masterpiece of the genre, watched it quite a few times and it still holds up well, going into 2025 I'd love to see a 4K 20th Anniversary release, thanks Freeman

Best found footage movie.

It is a masterpiece of the genre.

IMPRESSIVE

Audio seems incomplete. For example there are no sound effects during television segments, or background music.

The 720p version has hardcoded (Chinese?) subs

Its more suspense than terror. Its not scary but the confluence of characters is very good. As much as hand-held camera films go is one of the best.

THIS VERSION IS HARDSUBBED, be careful

Well JiveSamba said believe the comments so I believe what lickface said.

One hour in. Not scared, not even interested in any of the flat characters.

I’m a half an hour in and I’m not scared at all. Just annoyed by the terrible acting.

Believe the comments for once, i've been after this movie since it's release and it delivers. It's found footage but not as you know it, Lovecraftian even, as there is an inability to even properly explain it. This might be together with Ebola Syndrome the best movie ever made.

one of the very best faux-doc, found footage movies ever.

FINALLY! requested for it a long time back. One of the best j-horror movies.
