Plot summary

Lora Hart manages to land a job in a hospital as a trainee nurse. Upon completion of her training she goes to work as a night nurse for two small children who seem to be very sick, though something much more sinister is going on.

I love Barbara Stanwyck, but this one shoots for the middle and achieves it.

A mixture of melodrama and silly comedy with

A mixture of melodrama and silly comedy with a casual murder thrown in at the end. I wonder if the depiction of doctors in the operating theatre wearing masks that left their noses exposed is accurate. Many fellow Americans did the same during the Covid pandemic and then complained that masks didn’t work. We see nurses undressing down to their undergarments but no real nudity. In one case a male medical intern has gained access to the locker room, again difficult to accept that this would be allowed to occur.
