While I appreciate the film, as well as anything that has Hal Holbrook and Louise Fletcher in it, I will have to say that I am not nearly as impressed as the other reviewers. Granted, when I viewed it, it was after quite a number of 70's films, which, if you know your film history, were quite predictably depressing and cynical (it took Spielberg and Lucas to finally bring light and enjoyment back into the theater with JAWS and STAR WARS). Regardless, while it isn't up to such standards as EASY RIDER or VANISHING POINT, I would still at least watch it once just for the experience.
