Plot summary

Jet Li plays a young man who's been

Jet Li plays a young man who's been raised by Shaolin monks since he was a baby following the death of his parents at the hands of the evil emperor. The now grown, Li decides it's time for revenge and teams up with two others who want the ruler killed as well. The film is notable in that it was the only time that director Lau Kar Leung worked with Li, but the result is nothing all that special. This film is a far cry from the best of Li's films and is probably only worth watching for Jet Li super fans (which I count myself as), but it's far from his best work. Still, Jet Li is immensely watchable and manages in even the worst of film.
