Cherry Return follows a girl who mysteriously returns

Cherry Return follows a girl who mysteriously returns to her family after disappearing for 12 years, bringing unresolved trauma, suspicion, and a series of deaths with her. While the film builds an intriguing mystery during its first half, weak character motivations, unanswered questions, and rushed execution prevent the story from reaching its full potential. Despite its interesting premise and several twists, the lack of emotional depth and narrative foundation ultimately makes the film feel only moderately satisfying. ``` By alunauwie ```

Zero suspense

Indeed the story isn't that bad but the director still stays at the old old fashion setting, the whole piece just looks like 80's movie. It fails to give audience in any suspense. The younger sister's acting is awkward with her monotone and her big stared eyes. Why does she need to swap jacket with her mom? It being so insane!
