I've watched this piece of art a dozen

I've watched this piece of art a dozen times now. I share it with others. I've organized watch parties. Myth of Man describes a transhumanist, post-human point of view where the people involved don't remember their collective past. The huge statues, the circuitry obvious in their wounds. These are a new kind of being. The poisonous dust that circulates in simulacrum with the comet the main character worships suggest a dynamic; a binary. It's day and night. She prays and is successful.

The high aim of any artistic creation is

The high aim of any artistic creation is to hold the viewer in arrest. A magical place where you are neither pushed away, nor seduced but instead held in a kind of atone-ment with the creation. There are moments when Myth of Man held me in arrest. If you want to get away and experience something wholly imaginative, transportive, beautiful, and well acted pieces of cinematic art in recent memory ... watch Myth of Man. And when you've sufficiently recovered, check out Winans' other achievement - INK.

Creative story telling with well defined characters, amazing

Creative story telling with well defined characters, amazing camera work, beautiful lighting, artistic sets with diesel punk references. It is a grown up fairy tale exploring life's great mysteries, social justice themes and making climate change inferences. The movie rewards you for the attention you put into it, it requires active participation: you need to to take a puzzle apart and examine each piece then examine how they fit to form a bigger picture. Poetry in motion.
