Plot summary

Isabelle, a geneticist recovering from a toxic marriage, is raising her only daughter, Zoe, with her contentious ex-husband. Zoe means everything to her mother and so when tragedy strikes the fractured family, Isabelle travels to Russia in seeking the help of a world-renowned fertility physician who Isabelle believes can help bring back her little girl.

This is one of the most pointless and

This is one of the most pointless and boring films I have ever seen. I spent the entire film waiting for it to get going - for something meaningful to happen - it never did. The two main characters are the stereotypical portrayal of exes in conflict - nothing interesting at all.

It seemed almost like 2 movies - a slow drama focusing on a family tragedy, a fast-paced Black Mirror-like scifi that ultimately generates false hope. Though it was a well-done character study that obviously was a work of love for Julie Delpy - lead protagonist, writer and director, it was just not wholly satisfying,

Beyond boring the idea is great but it's

Beyond boring the idea is great but it's so slow to slow to even keep interest nothing really happens the acting and dialogue are meh at best and none of the characters are all that interesting or likeable the idea of the mom cloning her dead daughter is fun to bad that doesn't happen until the very end that should have happened after Zoey is put into a coma over all I can not recommend this boring film hell I'll forget about it by tomorrow
