Plot summary

After being denied access to the Church of Scientology's headquarters, documentarian Louis Theroux teams up with ex-Scientology official Marty Rathbun to stage re-enactments of alleged abuses within the organization. Theroux soon discovers that the church is watching his every move.

The documentary mostly focuses on the alleged abuse

The documentary mostly focuses on the alleged abuse that occurs in Scientology and the stories of ex-members experiences, as well as focusing on the leader Miscavige but not really on what the church believes. The documentary is well produced and worth watching but not exceptional.

It was fun to watch but the bottom line; this is just an extended documentary, so not really a "film".

Aimless and wandering around trying to make a

Aimless and wandering around trying to make a point that this is a cult not a religion. I would have rather seen the final edits of the recreations and interviews with the people who were there and the cult's reprisals.
