Plot summary

Fun, stylish, good-natured road movie with a light

Fun, stylish, good-natured road movie with a light screwball feel. The period details, especially the costumes and cars, are enjoyable to watch, and the script keeps things moving with a steady stream of funny quips. Renée Zellweger and Logan Lerman carry it well. It doesn’t aim for much depth, but it knows what it is. As Lorna said, "it’s like eating candy, it looks good and it sounds good," which feels exactly right.
