Plot summary

JJ, grieving the loss of her grandmother, jumps at the chance to join a new friend, Henrik, on a trip to Norway to discover her grandmother’s history and look into how she landed a troll figurine from his hometown.

As a new viewer of Hallmark Christmas movies

As a new viewer of Hallmark Christmas movies, I find most of them poorly acted and quite sappy. But I thoroughly enjoyed this one for it story, beautiful town and believable characters. The acting is good and chemistry between the two lead actors was obvious. I've watched it several times now and love it.
