Not Worthy

My Lord didn't impress me at all. The story feels slow, many scenes look unnecessarily stretched, and the emotions never really connect. Even the performances seem uneven throughout. Overall, the movie feels dull and tiring to sit through. I honestly expected something impactful, but it never delivered.

A Rooted Story That Truly Resonates

In recent years, Tamil cinema has often leaned toward high budget spectacle and heavily westernized storytelling. While ambition is admirable, that approach doesn't always resonate emotionally.This film takes a different route, one that feels far more authentic.It returns to its roots, embracing cultural honesty and emotional depth over visual excess. The narrative is thrilling and mysterious, yet grounded in reality. It delivers a meaningful social message without being preachy, which makes its impact even stronger.The portrayal of class differences is handled with nuance and sensitivity. The contrast between wealth and struggle feels real, not exaggerated for drama.What stood out most to me, however, was the portrayal of love. The husband initially appears simple, even somewhat dull on the surface but as the story unfolds, you realize he is deeply sincere and a truly wonderful partner. It was refreshing to see love depicted through quiet strength, loyalty, and emotional integrity rather than grand gestures.The acting across the board is completely on point. Every performance feels natural and convincing, adding weight to the story without unnecessary dramatics.This is a film that chooses substance over spectacle and it succeeds beautifully. Thought-provoking, moving, and deeply human.Highly recommended!!
