Plot summary

It seems that Bob Jones has everything a man could want, namely a fulfilling job and a beautiful, pregnant wife, Gail. But Bob's life is turned upside-down when he is diagnosed with cancer and given four months to live -- not even enough time to see his first child's birth. To cleanse himself of demons in his remaining days, Bob makes a video diary, hoping to pass along some wisdom to his future child. Along the way, he discovers a lot about himself.

A devastating meditation on legacy and mortality, this movie leverages Keaton's ineffable ability to oscillate between levity and gravitas. As a terminally ill exec racing to record himself for his unborn child, he transmutes quotidian moments into profound artifacts of existence. The film's denouement hits like a memento mori wrapped in celluloid - not because it's maudlin, but because it's mercilessly truthful about how we process impending oblivion. While the third act occasionally threatens to careen into saccharine territory, it ultimately sticks the landing with the same grace its protagonist learns to embrace.

الفلم حلو . الفيلم فكرته مؤثرة وأداؤه...

الفلم حلو . الفيلم فكرته مؤثرة وأداؤه محترم، لكن الكتابة والتنفيذ لم يرتقيا إلى مستوى الدراما العميقة المتوقعة، النبرة غير مستقرة، والعواطف تبدو مصطنعة أحيانًا .رغم ذالك الفلم قدم مشاهد مميزة و موثرة . الممثلين ادائهم جيد رغم تركيز القصة على البطل اكثر لان محور الفلم . الممثل قام بالشخصية بشكل جيد لكن في المنتصف بدا يتخبط اغلب الحوارات هو موجود بيها اغلب المشاهد هو موجود بيها اعتقد حس بثقل في منتصف الفلم الى النهاية قدر يرجع لاداءه بشكل جيد. البطلة حضورها قوي لكن للاسف لم يتم عطائها مساحة اكبر في الفلم اغلب الفلم هي مساندة فقط . الاخراج كان جيد صح اكو بعض التخبط بالسرد مثل مواقف كوميدية ما تتناسب مع اجواء القصة و جوها العام سردها بوقت غلط و بطريقة غلط لكن كما قلنا ان القصة تفتقر للعمق الدرامي الذي يليق بجو الفلم . التصوير كان جيد مع الوان ساطعة . الموسيقى كانت جيدة وتناسب جو الفلم .

A very well acted story of how life

A very well acted story of how life can change and should be appreciated while your still living. Makes me forget my problems and focus on what you have not what could be. Dying when your,still a young man is hard to swallow and you feel like you were cheated and that's what made me well up.
