You hadn't ought to done that, mister. Mike

You hadn't ought to done that, mister. Mike Hammer is a private detective that finds a prostitute murdered that he was previously helping out. She had a unique ring she always wore. Meanwhile, he is hired to hunt down some jewels that have a gang tracking them down. The detective may find the killer of the prostitute while executing his very next case. "It ain't easy to talk when you're choking on your own teeth." Phil Victor and George White collaborate for both of their directorial debuts in delivering My Gun is Quick. The storyline for this picture is just okay and a bit cliché but fun to watch unfold. The dialogue was a bit cheesy but the settings and execution was fun. The cast delivers very average performances. "That makes me a stinking detective and you a lousy cop." This was recently added to the Netflix classic films and I had to add it to my wish list. This was a great grindhouse picture that is worth a viewing for fans of the genre. This isn't a classic or standout in the genre, but it is worth a viewing. "I have morale objection to murder." Grade: C

I have been a fan of Mickey Spillaine's

I have been a fan of Mickey Spillaine's private detective Mike Hammer for many years now and Robert Bray's portrayal gives him a Heart! For most detectives of the genre, Bray is relatively sensitive; especially, towards the female characters!

Ignore the reviews what do they think this

Ignore the reviews what do they think this was Gone with the Wind. It's a B film noir with supporting actors in leads and doing a very good job of it. The plot a little convoluted but that's fixed in the end. Meantime Mile Hammer is making every woman he meets swoon, punching bad guys, jumping off roofs and getting the very bad girl in the end and not in the good way. A wonderful 50's era noir.
