Plot summary

They used to run the country. Now they're running for their lives! Two on-the-lam former Presidents of the United States. Framed in a scandal by the current President and pursued by armed agents, the two squabbling political foes plunge into a desperately frantic search for the evidence that will establish their innocence.

A very fun movie with a great cast

A very fun movie with a great cast and decent enough plot that keeps things rolling. Not without it's flaws no doubt, where much of the humor lands, some of it certainly does not, which is the nature of a film like this I suppose. Love this movie overall.

A very funny buddy comedy and absolutely nothing

A very funny buddy comedy and absolutely nothing more. People act like comedies need to have deep plots. They are really a chance to unplug one’s brain and laugh. I laughed a lot at the political banter, and the chemistry between Garner and Lemon was so outstanding, I didn’t miss Walter Mattheau a bit. The supporting cast is ridiculously stacked with Sela Ward, Lauren Bacall, Wilford Brimley, Bradley Whitford, and Conchata Ferrell. It has similarities to 2025’s Heads of State. A good time with some likable stars.
