Plot summary

Mushi are beings in touch with the essence of life, far more basic and pure than normal living things. Most humans are incapable of perceiving Mushi and are oblivious to their existence, but there are a few who possess the ability to see and interact with Mushi. One such person is Ginko who travels from place to place to research Mushi and aid people suffering from problems caused by them.

I'm in love with the anime, and I

I'm in love with the anime, and I liked the movie, even with some big faults, Otomo exacerbating the most enigmatic and horrific facets of the previous story. Still, the main themes are still there - the mix between medic and shaman, the original and unique metaphysical microbilogy, the karmic view of the circle of life, the bittersweet mistery of human life. And, as always, fascinating.

I loved it because I love Odagiri Jo

I loved it because I love Odagiri Jo, and seeing the anime come to life. However, the time line was confusing - they spliced past scenes with current day ones. Over all, good.
