For me there was nothing spectacular on filmography or the approach of Mushashi legend. I appreciate the simplicity, wich led to presenting the whole story in single film in clear and modern way. Without a burden of the previous masterpieces that could lead to a disastrous innovation, the filmakers made an action film that hasn't been a waste of my time. For people unfamiliar with the previous films and the legend of Mushashi, this film could be a cool starting point that could intrigate them watching the masterpieces of the past. It's a 6/10.
