Plot summary

Panna and Tony play members of a desperate gang of thieves who are forced into hiding after a robbery goes wrong; when the police launch a raid on their hide-out, the pair are forced to make a bid for freedom, and in the ensuing battle, Panna's 'brother' is shot and killed. Narrowly escaping the clutches of the law themselves, the duo plan to take revenge on Pitak, the cop who fired the fatal bullet.

Hard Gun (Mue prab puen hode) is a 1996 Thai martial arts action film starring Panna Rittikrai, Jan Janmulltree, Thunyaluk Rarchatha and Tony Jaa. It was directed by Prapon Petchinn. It was written by Nueng Nuengnued. It was produced by Pachpunna Productions. The policeman Pitak (Jan Janmulltree) switches from a band of thugs. Only the leader (Panna Rittikrai) survived and vows revenge. With the help of his protégé (Tony Jaa), he sets out to terrorize the cop. Vision wrote: "the music adds a Thai touch to the film. Tony Jaa reprises his persona in his 2nd feature film. Tony Jaa plays the villain. This time, they run from him. What an advancement in his martial arts on screen. Convincing villains, procedural police and convincing friendships. Two and a half fries!"
