فلم ضعيف يحاول يخلي البطل يظهر بشكل رومانسي و وسيم وجذاب وهل هحجي مو بفتره من الفلم الحجي مستمر من اول الفلم النهايتة يظهر ان النوبات تخلية اكثر سعاده وطاقه وهو العكس الاضطراب ثنائي القطب هو حالة مزمنة تحتاج لالتزام طويل الأمد بالعلاج بينما الفيلم يميل لإعطاء انطباع بأن "الحب" أو "التفاهم" قد يكونان الحل السحري الفلم درامى رومانسيه اكثر ما هو درامى طبيه حول شخص يعاني من امراض نفسيه

Richard Gere is the most convincing portrayal I

Richard Gere is the most convincing portrayal I have ever seen of someone suffering a manic high and the lows that accompany it. While not everyone suffers these extremes the episodes uncannily mirrored some of my experiences with a close friend. I would have given it 5 stars. The romantic plot with the psychiatrist was not plausible. The reality is more that of the bank teller who is intrigued by the exuberance of the person and is carried along with the ups and downs into a relationship. Otherwise well done Richard Gere it's hard to play over the top without it descending into a parody. It's an extraordinary achievement.
